What is Medicalis and how does it work?

MEDICALIS is a comprehensive on-line directory of all medical professionals in South Africa.  It allows users to search out for medical practitioners or healthcare facilities easily, by allowing its users to search using any or all of the following criteria:

How do I join the Medicalis directory?

There are three ways in which you could be listed on the MEDICALIS directory.

Listing

You could have a listing (or multiple listings) in the MEDICALIS directory.  A listing consists of an entry into any one of the MEDICALIS databases.  The entry may be made as a practitioner or group of practitioners, and every address is considered to be a unique entry.  For example, a Medical Practitioner may want to have two practices, which located in different parts of Durban listed.  This will require two entries or listings into the database to ensure the searchable integrity of the database.

What is the cost of a listing / multiple listings?

The prices below include VAT.

For each listing: R 35.00 per month or R 399.00 annually

How do I pay?

All subscriptions, whether monthly or annually, are to be paid by debit order.  Invoices are produced annually in advance.

Premium Listing

In addition to the normal listing, you may want to have one full-page listing containing more information about your practice.  This would be a web page with all your custom information, linked from your normal listing.

The cost of the premium listing includes: 1 normal listing, 1 dedicated web page about your practice or services linked from the normal listing.

What is the cost of the premium listing?

The prices below exclude VAT.

Premium listing: R 74.10 per month or R 815.10 per year

Super Listing

There is also the option of having your own web site on your own personalised domain name (internet address). 

The following is included in a super listing: 1 normal listing, free custom .co.za domain name (based on what’s available), 2 dedicated web pages (on your own domain name) about your practice or services linked from the normal listing.

Super listing: R 108.30 per month or R 1 191.30 per year

Additional web pages: R 25.00 per page per month or R 300 per page per year
